Wildflowers Three
The Wildflowers series was taken when my husband and I were exploring the Highline in New York City on our 10th anniversary trip. We had been on the Highline before, but it was during the middle of winter, and not quite as alive. This time, thanks to the heat and summer rains of August, the whole path was green and so happy looking. Right about this time on our trip, we were waiting on the call to nail down a closing date for our new home. I got the call right before we found this spot. I took these to dress our new walls and to remember that moment.
